Rosedale Meeting RoomCaregivers learn tools for self-care that strengthen brain health, reduce stress, build resilience and connect with community in a supportive environment.
Discover practical, research-based strategies that enhance cognitive vitality and healthy aging while nurturing personal well-being based on Harvard's Pillars of Brain Health. Caregivers learn relaxation techniques, brain-boosting nutrition approaches, stimulating brain aerobics activities and enjoy meaningful social interaction with other caregivers. Each session includes mindfulness practices, gentle movement, nutritious refreshments and time for questions and guided discussion. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing; no prior yoga or mindfulness experience is required. Program is designed to provide caregivers information and community in a fun environment. This week, discover foods that support memory, mood and energy, and build simple caregiver-friendly nutrition strategies. This program is made possible by a grant from the Baltimore County Department of Aging’s Caregiver Support Program.
