Instrument Making With Clay
Adult Art Camp
Saturday, July 11
1:30pm - 4:30pm
White Marsh Branch
White Marsh Meeting RoomIn this hands-on workshop, explore the rich legacy of pre-Columbian sound technologies by learning about Indigenous ceramic instruments and creating your own flute.
Through the shaping of clay into flutes, we deepen our appreciation for ancestral cultures and awaken a felt sense of connection to the natural world. This process invites us into embodied presence, cultivates creative expression and fosters a sense of community. All are welcome, and no previous experience with clay, instruments or music necessary.
