Earn service-learning hours by helping plant a pollinator garden at the branch, decorating plant labels and planting starter seeds in pots for customers to take.
Help create a pollinator garden and beautify the area around the Red Queen statue at the front of the branch by planting species that support pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. Afterward, fill plant pots with starter seeds and decorate plant labels. Completed pots will be available in the branch for customers to take and start their own pollinator gardens. Supplies provided. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that is weather-appropriate and sturdy shoes.
This program is intended for middle and high school students interested in earning service-learning hours.
