We discuss The Night Librarian by cartoonist Christopher Lincoln.
Twins Page and Turner have been visiting the New York City Public Library for years, especially since their parents are often traveling for work. The library is their magical place, but what happens when the magic threatens to break free? Storybook villains are roaming the library stacks and giant beanstalks are growing indoors. It’s up to the twins with help from the mysterious Night Librarian to save the day (and most importantly the library)!
Recommended for ages 9-12. Plus, stick around after the discussion for a fun activity inspired by the book.
