Kate Schapira is the author of Lessons from the Climate Anxiety Counseling Booth: How to Live With Care and Purpose in an Endangered World. She teaches writing at Brown University and is involved with local efforts toward environmental justice, climate justice, rent stabilization and peer mental health support.
