Understanding Elder Law With Maryland Legal Aid
Spotlight on Caregiving
Wednesday, September 23
7:00pm - 8:00pm
Learn to make informed decisions on healthcare and financial and other legal issues that may arise as part of the caregiving journey.
Caregivers often deal with complex decisions which affect both themselves and their loved ones. Lawyers from Maryland Legal Aid address common legal scenarios such as powers of attorney, living wills, HIPAA laws, guardianship and FMLA employment protections to provide caregivers with the knowledge and guidance to make the best choices for their personal situations. Presentation includes a Q&A segment. This program is made possible by a grant from the Baltimore County Department of Aging’s Caregiver Support Program.
