Cockeysville Meeting RoomEnjoy light refreshments, share your and hear others' stories, and build community as we view and discuss clips from the documentary Wine, Women, & Dementia.
In this film, family caregivers share stories and find community while exploring the “beauty and brutality, the hilarious and the horrific” all present in the experience of caring for a loved one with dementia. Rosanne Corcoran, host of Daughterhood: The Podcast and one of the documentary's cast members, leads a discussion and shares selected clips from the documentary that feature topics like dementia behaviors, cost of care, the importance of support and the end of the journey. Light refreshments served. This program is made possible by a grant from the Baltimore County Department of Aging’s Family Caregiver Support Program.
