Baltimore’s spiritualists believed the answer was yes—while magicians set out to prove them wrong. Join a State Library Resource Center subject specialist as they delve into the shadowy world of spirit mediums, the mysterious birth of the Ouija board and the secretive exploits of the Demons Club, Baltimore’s enigmatic society of amateur illusionists.
