White Marsh Meeting RoomIllustrate your memories by creating a visual journal. Part art/part journaling, this method of memory keeping is a fun way to record the ordinary and not-so-ordinary moments in your life.
Learn how to overcome the blank page syndrome, drawing from techniques that embrace imperfection, choosing composition and layout for your pages, and using permanent fountain pen ink, watercolors and watercolor pencils. No art experience necessary. Supplies included. Feel free to bring your own paper or notebook that is watercolor-friendly. Presented by Thien-Kim Lam, a romance author and stationery hoarder, uh, enthusiast. Her most recent novel, Something Cheeky, is an Asian American musical theatre showmance set in D.C.
