Arbutus Meeting Room (Full Room)Learn about the many accomplishments of the first African American scientist, Benjamin Banneker, with the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum.
There is a story time, interactive demonstrations of surveying Washington, D.C., and an opportunity to write a letter to Thomas Jefferson, just like Banneker did, using a quill pen and ink.
