Local jazz artist Zadia sings classic songs and shares stories from some of the great Black vocalists.
Join Zadia for a memorable musical experience as part of the Randallstown Branch’s 10th annual Black History Celebration. Zadia is a soulful vocalist and songwriter born and raised in the suburbs of Maryland. Her versatile style crosses multiple genres, including R&B, blues, jazz, country and gospel. In addition to local performances in Baltimore and in the Twins Jazz nightclub in D.C., some of her highlights include appearing on the Emmy-winning primetime holiday special Season to Celebrate and performing in the role of Aunt Em in a Baltimore production of The Wiz musical stage play.
