Experience an engaging evening hosted by Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library as we present a special community screening and discussion of the PBS Indie Lens documentary Free for All.
Library CEO, Sonia Alcántara-Antoine, kicks off the evening with a welcome and introduction, setting the stage for this inspiring story. Enjoy complimentary gourmet popcorn and a refreshing mocktail as we explore the legacy of the pioneering women behind the "Free Library Movement" and the dedicated librarians who continue to serve the public in today’s challenging times. Presented in partnership with Maryland Public Television. Local dignitaries and library leaders are invited to take part in this unique opportunity to dive into the story of how public libraries became civic institutions open to all.
