As part of the Randallstown Branch’s 10th annual Black History Celebration, historian Dr. Bethea-Sholly presents the life, challenges and accomplishments of Elizabeth Taylor Greenfield, a former slave during the mid-1800s that became known as “The Black Swan” and the first African American to perform for British royalty at Buckingham Palace in London.
