Perry Hall Meeting RoomPrakriti Dance shows the audience stories told in a new way?through the body and face movement of the classical Indian dance style of Bharatanatyam.
Stories presented draw from Indian mythology and the fables of the West, showcasing dance as a versatile language that transcends cultural boundaries. Audience members learn different hand gestures and have opportunities to brainstorm about how they are used in storytelling. First come, first served with limited space. Tickets available 30 minutes before program.
